Liquor Licensing Reforms - Stage 2

On 24 September 2018, new laws were introduced as part of Stage 2 of South Australia’s liquor licensing reform.

The Stage 2 changes have an impact on:

  • Direct Sales Licences (i.e. sales made via phone, internet, mail etc);
  • Short term dry areas
  • Confiscation of identification by licensees
  • Welfare barrings
  • Directions for staff to complete training
  • Local liquor accords
  • Disciplinary action by the Commissioner
