Clelands Lawyers announces two new Directors

Clelands Lawyers has expanded its leadership team with the appointment of Nicholas McCarthy and Patrick Connelly as Directors. Their appointments reinforce the firm’s depth across its hospitality, commercial and litigation practices and strengthen its overall leadership capability.

Patrick brings extensive experience across commercial, property and business-related matters, with a particular focus on the hospitality industry and commercial property. Admitted in 2011, he joined Clelands in 2013 after several years practising in commercial and taxation law. Known for his meticulous approach, Patrick provides comprehensive advice on commercial property transactions, business acquisitions and sales, leasing and major property development projects.

Nick, who joined Clelands’ Litigation and Insolvency team in 2022, was admitted in 2008 and brings a wealth of litigation and employment law experience. He has managed matters and appeared in disputes across all major courts and tribunals, acting for private businesses, high-net-worth individuals and sporting organisations. Nick also has significant expertise in personal and corporate insolvency, advising insolvency practitioners on all aspects of the insolvency process.
